2g2+3g-4=0,

g2+3g/2-2=0,

g2+3g/2=2,

g2+3g/2+9/16=2+9/16=41/16,

(g+¾)2=41/16,

g+¾=±√41/4,

g=-¾±√41/4 or (-3±√41)/4.

g=(√41-3)/4=0.8508 approx or -(√41+3)/4=-2.3508 approx.
