GIVEN: 48 students PROBLEM: How many boys are there? SOLUTION: x=number of boys x=48/(5+7) =48/12 =4 4*5=20 (number of boys) 4*7=28 (number of girls) TO CHECK: 20+28=48

i dont know im looking for how many more girls there are than boys. There are 48 students in a school play. The ratio of boys to girls is 5 : 7. How many more girls than boys are in the play? Can anyon help me.
