If you could explain how you came up with the answer that would really help, as I am not good at solving perfect square equations like this one.

Divide both sides by 2: x^2=25. Therefore x is the square root of 25 and there are two solutions: x=5 and x=-5, because 5*5=25 and (-5)*(-5)=25, since negatives multiplied together give plus or positive.
