As x (input) increases by 3, y (output) decreases by 3, so the relation is:

y=-x+k. We find k by inserting a pair of x-y values:

x=-2, y=12: 12=2+k, k=10 so y=10-x.

When x=1, y=9; when x=4, y=6.
