x/y=x+y, x=xy+y2, x-xy=y2, x(1-y)=y2, so x=y2/(1-y).

Given y≠0 and y≠1 we can find x.

Example: let y=2, then x=-4; let y=-1, then x=½; let y=½, then x=½; etc.

There are many solutions and the same value of x usually has two different values for y.
