The red curve is y=¾x which could also be written y3=27x/64 or x=64y3/27.

The blue line is y=-2. They intersect when ¾x=-2.

The intersection point is shown, but the graph can only approximate to this at the scale shown.

Nevertheless it can be seen that the solution for this two-equation system is about x=-19 and, of course, y=-2. x is the solution of the equation ¾x=-2. (x=-512/27=-1826/27.)
