I know how to take normal derivatives but i am not sure how to take it when there is a function in the power area.

Take logs of both sides:

ln(y)=(x2+10)ln(10), derivative:

y'/y=2xln(10), y'=2xyln(10),

y'=2xln(10)(10x²+10).
