What is the y-intercept for the equation:
5y = -7x - 15

In order to find the y-intercept you must get the equation into point slope form:
y = mx + b

The y intercept is the b term.

To do that here are the following steps:
5y = -7x - 15

Divide everything by 5:
y = -7/5x - 3

You now can see that the b term is -3.

The y-intercept = -3
