What is the slope and Y-intercept for 7x + 8y − 5 = 0?  solve for y and get into slope intercept format y = mx + b

 7x + 8y − 5 = 0

8y = -7x + 5

y = -7/8 x + 5/8

m or slope is -7/8, y-intercept is b or 5/8
