A few parantheses may be needed: 81^(x^3+2x^2)=27^(5x/3)?

3^4(x^3+2x^2)=3^3(5x/3)=3^5x

Equating exponents: 4x^3+8x^2=5x; x(4x^2+8x-5)=0

x(2x-1)(2x+5)=0; x=0, 1/2, -5/2.
