The ratio of two integers is 7:12. Their sum is 76. Find the two integers

A = one integer\

B = the other

A + B = 76 → Call this eq1

7A = 12B

A = 12B / 7 →calll this eq2

subtitue eq2 in eq1

12B/7 + B = 76

12B + 7B = 76 x 7

19 B = 76 x 7

B = (76 x 7) / 19

B = 28

Substitute B + 28 to eq 2

A + B = 76 → Call this eq1

A + 28 = 72

A = 44

A + 28 = 72

In the first part I want to make a correction her in stead of 72 change this to 76

A + 28 = 76

A = 76 - 28

A = 48
