2y(5 + y)
= 2y(5) + 2y(y) {used distributive property}
= 10y + 2y² {multiplied through}
= 2y² + 5y {wrote in decreasing order of exponents}

You need to distribute. So it will be 2y times 5 PLUS 2y times y. So the answer will be 10y+y(to the second power)
