There are three possible answers, although two not traditional ages for children.

abc=96.

b=a+2.

a(a+2)c=96.

(a^2+2a)c=96.

If a=0, there is no solution as abc=96.

If a=1, then b=3, and c=32, but 32 is not considered a child.

If a=2, then b=4, and c=12.

If a=3, then b=5 and c=32/5=6 and 2/5. not a traditional age.

If a=4, then b=6 and c=4, however b is the middle child.

Hence, a=2, b=4, and c=12 is the only "sensible" answer.

options satisfying conditions:
