x2-3x-28=3,

x2-3x-31=0,

x=(3±√(9+124))/2=(3±√133)/2=7.2663 or -4.2663 approx.

(x-4)(x-7)=3,

x2-11x+28=3,

x2-11x+25=0,

x=(11±√(121-100))/2,

x=(11±√21)/2=7.7913 or 3.2087 approx.
