Gather all the m terms on the left of the inequality and all the numbers on the right. When crossing over from one side to the other remember to reverse the sign. So we have: 0.80m+m-2m+0.4m>-9+17, which is: 0.2m>8. Multiply both sides by 10 to get rid of the decimal and we have 2m>80, so m>40.
