(6x + 1)(x² - 9x + 5)
= 6x(x²) + 6x(-9x) + 6x(5) + 1(x²) + 1(-9x) + 1(5) {used distributive property}
= 6x³ - 54x² + 30x + x² - 9x + 5 {multiplied through}
= 6x³ - 53x² + 21x + 5 {combined like terms}
