Using synthetic division we use -6 as the "divisor":

-6 | 5  37    46

      5 -30 | -42

      5    7 |     4 (remainder), 5x+7 is the quotient.

(x+6)(5x+7)+4=5x2+37x+42+4=5x2+37x+46, so (5x2+37x+46)/(x+6)=5x+7+4/(x+6).
