5 1/4         To solve this find a common

5 4/10           denominator.

4 = 2*2

10 = 2*5

LCD = 2*2*5 = 20

5 1/4 = 5 5*1/20 = 5 5/20

5 4/10 = 5 2*4/20 = 5 8/20
