strate line...2x+3y=24

3y=-2x+24

y=-(2/3)x +8

strate line with slope=-2/3=-0.666666 or angel=-33.69 deg

then, set x=0 tu get point=(0,8)...weer   line hit y-axis

x-intercept is -2/3 and y-intercept is 8

Slope Intercept Form: y= mx + b where m is the slope and b is the y intercept. notice this is not in y, intercept form so we have to rewrite it. 2x + 3y = 24 Subtract 2x from both sides your left with 3y = 24 - 3x now finally divide both sides by 3 your left with y = 8 - x or y = -x + 8 X-intercept = -1 Y-intercept= 8
