f(x)=x^3-9x

f(x) = x^3 - 9x

f(-x) = (-x)^3 - 9(-x)

f(-x) = -x^3 + 9x

f(-x) = -(x^3 - 9x)

f(-x) = -f(x), Therefore odd function
