"remaender" is krat werd for leftover

zampel:  5/2...anser=2 but 2*2 dont=5

2*2=4, so yu hav a 1 left over...thats wot teech kall "remaender"

'Remainder' is another word for 'leftover'

the remainder is the amount you are left with after you've divided and you cannot divide anymore. It's the rest that cannot be divided.

ex: 19 divided by 2=9 remainder 1
