If  you mean a circular object with a circumference of 58 inches.

diameter = 58/pi ~ 58/3.14 = 18.5 inches

radius is 1/2 of diameter = 9.25 inches

To get the diameter from the circumference, divide by pi.  To get the radius, divide the diameter by 2.

For diameter: 58 divided by 3.14 = approximately 18.471

Radius: 18.471 divided by 2 = approximately 9.236

Find the volume of the described solid S.

a.The base of S is a circular disk with radius r.Parallel cross-sections perpendicular to the base are squares.

b.The base of S is the triangular region with vertices (0, 0), (1, 0) and (0, 1). Cross-sections perpendicular to the y-axis are equilateral triangles.

c.The base of S is the region enclosed by the parabolaand the x
-axis.Cross-sections to the y-axis are squares.

For thé radius.you should divide 53 by (2 * Pi) As for the diameter, once obtained the radius you then multiply it by 2. This should help you.
