You have not defined the functions so, for the purposes of illustration, I've invented some.

f(x)=5x+2, g(x)=x2-1, h(x)=x+1, j(x)=x/2, k(x)=2x-1.

  1. f(x)-k(x)=5x+2-(2x-1)=5x+2-2x+1=3x+3
  2. (k+h)(x)=k(x)+h(x)=2x-1+x+1=3x
  3. (f×k)(x)=(5x+2)(2x-1)=10x2-x-2
  4. g(x)/h(x)=(x2-1)/(x+1)=(x-1)(x+1)/(x+1)=x-1
  5. j(h(x))=h(x)/2=½x+½
