x=rcosθ, y=rsinθ.

x2+y2=r2 so r=√(x2+y2)=√(48+16)=8.

tanθ=y/x=-4/4√3=-1/√3, θ=-⅙π=11π/6.

Polar coords for (4√3,-4)=(8,11π/6).
