Since t^2+5t+7 is a continuous function, you can substitute t= -2 directly.

(-2)^2 +5*(-2) +7

=> 4 -10 +7

=> 1

Limit obtained by direct substitution:

(-2)²+5(-2)+7=4-10+7=1. Limit is 1.
