Writing my second grade 10 paper tommorow kinda stumped on what to do here. I know something to the power of a fraction is a root value of the bottom part of the fraction. (sorry don't do math in english) I started out by making it: (3*√x)^6-(3.6*√x)^6 + 2^6 = 0 then after multiplying everything got x^3 - 729x + 64 = 0. this is where I am stuck. not sure what to do further realise it is a 3 term and probably is (x -/+ 3*√of something)(x^2 etc.). Haven't been taught this so any help on this would be great. This was the 'trick' question of last years paper.
Relatively sure I can't use the formula for this in a test although I do know it. [(x = -b +-√b^2-4ac)/2a)]
Well 20 minutes in and I think I got it. Now at (x*1/6)^2 - 3x^1/6 + 64^1/6
