a) PQ=6QR, PR=PQ+QR=7QR=98cm, QR=98/7=14cm, PQ=6×14=84cm.

b) XQ=2PX, PQ=PX+XQ=6 divisions=3XQ, so XQ is 2 divisions and PX is 4 divisions:
