0.90x = x + 11

To begin with we can subtract x from both sides of the equation:

0.90x - x = x - x + 11

- 0.1x = 11

Now to find out what x equals we can divide both sides of the equation by -0.1:

(-0.1x)/(-0.1) = 11/(-0.1)

x = 110/(-1)

x = -110
