first, multiply all the terms by 30:

48x+5-80x>61,

combine like terms:

-32x>56,

add 32x-56 to each side:

-56>32x,

divide both sides by 8:

-7>4x,

divide both sides by 4:

-7/4>x, which is the same as x<-7/4 (the solution).
