If the question is:

-5(x-2)=20-5x+10, then it’s a false equation that is never true because:

-5x+10=20-5x+10, which is 0=20, because the other terms cancel out, which is false.

If the question is:

-5x(x-2)=20-5x+10,

-5x(x-2)=30-5x,

divide through by 5:

-x(x-2)=6-x,

-x²+2x=6-x, which is the quadratic:

x²-3x+6=0, which only has complex solutions.
