3/x+x/(x+1)=7/(x2+x).

(3x+3+x2)/(x2+x)=7/(x2+x),

x2+3x+3=7,

x2+3x-4=0=(x+4)(x-1) so x=1 or -4.

CHECK

3/1+1/(1+1)=3+½=7/2; 7/(x2+1)=7/2✔️

-¾+(-4)/(-3)=-¾+4/3=7/12; 7/(x2+x)=7/(16-4)=7/12✔️
