Which number has the smallest value?

​-3,-1.5,0,0.2,2.1

I think 0.2 because - means below zero and 0.2 is below zero so i think decimals that are below zero is the same as negative numbers so therefore,0.2 is the smallest.

The smallest is -3 because it’s the most negative. Positive numbers are always greater than negative numbers. If you think about temperatures, 0 is freezing and anything with a minus sign in front is below freezing. -3 is three below zero. All positive temperatures are above freezing. Highest is warmest, lowest is coldest.
