Using the letters of the alphabet to represent the numbers 0 to 25, we can convert the sum:

MICHAEL+JAMES=MILHMJD.

(We can write this as:

12080207000411

+      0900120418

12081107110829=12081107110903=MILHMJD.)

Or we can convert the letter-numbers into decimal: 3803077419+4121018=3807198437.

When this is converted back to letters we get MILHMJD.
