12/15=4/5 because we can divide top and bottom by 3.

⅗÷⅘ is the same as 3 divided by 4 which is ¾, because the common factor is a fifth and can be cancelled out. 3 of anything divided by 4 of the same thing is always ¾, or three out of four.
