I assume you want to simplify the expression. Take a pair of parenthesised factors and multiply them out:

(x+2)(x+3)=x²+5x+6

Now multiply this result by another factor x+4:

x³+5x²+  6x+

     4x²+20x+24=x³+9x²+26x+24.

And multiply this by the last factor x+5:

x⁴+9x³+26x²+  24x+

     5x³+45x²+130x+120=x⁴+14x³+71x²+154x+120

Finally, subtract 48: x⁴+14x³+71x²+154x+72.
