There is one equation but two unknowns so a unique solution isn’t possible.

4y=10.25-3x, y=2.5625-0.75x, so for a given value of x we can find y, and we can draw a graph of the equation to see how y varies with x. We can also find x in terms of y so that for any given value of y we can find x.
