At which values of x is the function from the graph shown continuous?  State the answers from the least to the highest, if there would be more than one.

Continuous for x<-4, -4<x<2, 2<x<4, x>4. Strictly, we cannot tell what happens for all x<-4 or x>4, because the piecewise graph doesn’t show it, but only implies it. So -4<x<2, 2<x<4 seems to be the surest answer. This includes continuity at x=-1.
