 3x-1+2√(3x-1)+1=3x+6, 2√(3x-1)=6, √(3x-1)=3, 3x-1=9, x=10/3. (Squaring to get rid of the radical.)

Test: put x=10/3 in the original:

√9 + 1=3 + 1=4, and √10+6=√16=4. So x=10/3 is the answer.  Answer B should be {10/3}.
