Expand: -30.24x+20.064=-58.56

20.064+58.56=30.24x, 30.24x=78.624, x=78.624/30.24=2.6.

So x=2.6.

Another way to do it (an easier way):

6.3x-4.18=-58.56/-4.8=12.2 because the negative signs cancel to make plus.

6.3x=4.18+12.2=16.38, x=16.38/6.3=2.6. So x=2.6 as before.

4.8(6.3x  4.18) = 58.56
