⅓h-4(⅔h-3)=⅔h-6,

⅓h-8h/3+12=⅔h-6, expanding the brackets

⅓h-2⅔h+12=⅔h-6, rewriting the improper fraction 8/3 as 2⅔

(⅓-2⅔-⅔)h=-12-6, collecting h terms on the left and numbers on the right

(⅓-3⅓)h=-18,

(3⅓-⅓)h=18, when we multiply both sides by -1

3h=18, h=18/3=6.

Check: put h=6 in original equation: left side: 2-4(4-3)=2-4=-2, and on right side: 4-6=-2. So left side=right side, and h=6 is the correct solution.
