Round 0.0123 in the hundredths plce value. I don't understand how to follow this

Because the hundredths figure is in the 2nd decimal place I think it means you need to round to 2 decimal places: 0.01. When rounding you look at the figure in the next decimal place (thousandths) and if it’s 5 or more you add 1 to the hundredths figure. In this case we have 2 in the thousandths place so it’s less than 5, so we don’t add 1 to the hundredths.
