You need small objects! What do you have in the house? Matches, pins, buttons, pennies, cocktail sticks, paper washers, drawing pins, ...

The question doesn’t say the objects have to be the same. Lay out the objects in rows, say 20 items in each row and 10 rows. Then show your daughter how to rearrange them into different numbers of rows and columns, like 40 by 5, 50 by 4, and so on. Careful with sharp objects! The question is to show how to get the number 200 by using different pairs of factors. It helps children to appreciate mathematical concepts in a fun way.
