A man kep for 25 days , for presence Rs 2 paid, absence 0.50 deducted, earns Rs 37.50, absent days ?

A man is kept as servant for 25 days , For his presence Rs 2 will be paid, and for his absence Rs 0.50 will be deducted, After 25 days, he earns Rs 37.50,  So for how many days he was absent from work?

If the man was present for 25 days he would have earned 50 Rs, but he only earned 37.50 Rs, so 12.50 Rs were deducted. This is equivalent to 25 days' deductions, so he was absent for the whole period of 25 days.
