Round 556.462 to the nearest tens place

​i have a answer key that says the answer is 560. but i was unsure and wanted to make sure i had the right answer before i went on.

The nearest tens are 550 and 560, but 560 is nearer because 560-556.462=3.538 is smaller (nearer) than 556.462-550=6.462 on a number line.
