Problem: 25y-75x=100
what is the answer to 25y-75x=100

25y - 75x = 100
25y - 75x + 75x = 75x + 100
25y = 75x + 100
25y/25 = (75x + 100)/25
y = 3x + 4

The answer is that this is a linear equation. When
graphed, it produces a straight line passing
through (0, 4), running from the lower left
to the upper right.
