I haven't heard of the term "cosinus intervallis" and there is no definition on the Internet. Please explain your question. Cosine is defined as adjacent/hypotenuse in a right-angled triangle. What are x and y in your question?

If x and y are the sides of a right-angled triangle next to an angle A, then y/27<cosine(A)<x/19, where x≤19 and y≤27.
