If f(x)=sin(x)-cos(x)√3 and f(x)=0 for a particular value of x, then sin(x)=cos(x)√3 (dividing through by cos(x)), tan(x)=√3 and x=60 degrees.
If f(x)=sin(x)√3-cos(x) and f(x)=0 for a particular value of x, then sin(x)√3=cos(x), tan(x)=1/√3=√3/3 and x=30 degrees.
