3q^2-16q+47=0

3(q^2-16q/3+47/3)=0 so q^2-16q/3+47/3=0

Complete the square:

q^2-16q/3+64/9 - 64/9+47=0

(q-8/3)^2=64/9-47=(64-423)/9=-359/9

q-8/3=+isqrt(359)/3, q=8/3+isqrt(359)/3=2.667+6.3158i
