anser: z=1 & x+y=3
by

Given x+y+z=4,...(1)
x+y+2z=5, ...(2)
4x+4y+6z=18...(3)
Mutiply (1) by -1 and add with equation (2)
-x-y-z=-4
x+y+2z=5
---------
z = 1
Substituting z value in equation (1)
x+y=3
x= 3-y
