23= 3+22*6/x

subtract 3 from both sides

20 = 22*(6/x)

divide both sides by 22

(20/22) = 6/x

reciprocate both sides

22/20 = x/6

x/6 = 11/10

multiply both sides by 6

x = 66/10 = 33/5

Answer: x = 6 3/5
